Longstanding problems of discrimination and social exclusion affects large segments of the Nepali society.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Continuing aftershocks and landslides make it clear that the earthquake in April was not a single disaster, posing serious challenges for the people of Nepal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Women, Dalits, Indigenous Peoples or people with disabilities, are the ones facing increased challenges when accessing urgently needed relief material and psychological support but are also facing human rights challenges.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1181\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1181\" style=\"width: 1014px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/thekashmirwalla.com\/2015\/08\/life-in-the-nepal-camps\/\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1181 size-large\" src=\"http:\/\/asiajournalist.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Kathmandu-Camps-04-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Zacharie Rabehi \" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" srcset=\"https:\/\/asiajournalist.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Kathmandu-Camps-04-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/asiajournalist.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Kathmandu-Camps-04-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/asiajournalist.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Kathmandu-Camps-04-199x133.jpg 199w, https:\/\/asiajournalist.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Kathmandu-Camps-04.jpg 1500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1181\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Zacharie Rabehi<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Every year, thousands of child and women are trafficked into neighbouring country India sold into prostitution, domestic slavery or into forced labor. \u201cLoss of livelihoods and worsening living conditions may allow traffickers to easily convince parents to give their children up for what they are made to believe will be a better life,\u201d Tomoo Hozumi, UNICEF Nepal representative, said in a statement. \u201cThe traffickers promise education, meals and a better future. But the reality is that many of those children could end up being horrendously exploited and abused.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">After the first quake, thousands came to take refuge in Kathmandu, people who lost family members, their assets.
